Fountainhead Global School and Junior College, in association with SWAN (Save Water and Nature) and Green India Challenge, organized a highly successful awareness rally on 24th June 2023 at two different locations in Hafeezpet: Calvary Temple Road, and Manjeera Pipeline. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and Mr. Sridhar Vunnam the secretary of SWAN- Save Water And Nature.
The objective of the awareness rally was to raise awareness about environmental conservation and tackle the pollution issues prevalent in these areas. Calvary Temple Road, and Manjeera Pipeline, Hafeezpet had been grappling with the consequences of improper waste disposal and neglect. In response, Fountainhead Global School took the initiative to organize this rally mobilizing stakeholders and volunteers to restore the pristine beauty of these locations.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with students and teachers from Fountainhead Global School & Junior College actively engaging in the rally. Equipped with slogans and inspiring tag lines. their commitment inspired the entire community.
The participants highlighted the significance of the event and served as a source of motivation for all participants. Additionally, the founders of Ozone run Ms. Bilvoa Vunnam and Ms. Teerdha Vunnam, renowned for their environmental initiatives and sustainable practices, added to the grandeur of the occasion with their support and presence.
Furthermore, the secretary Mr. Sridhar Vunnam of SWAN (Save Water and Nature), a respected organization dedicated to water conservation, actively participated in the rally. His expertise and guidance played a vital role in ensuring the event’s success, fostering a collaborative approach to environmental stewardship.
During the event, the Head of the Institution of Fountainhead Global School and Junior College, Ms.Sudha Rani Koyya, and Vice principal Mrs. Anupama Singh spoke about the urgent need to protect our environment and the role that educational institutions and students play in driving positive change. They emphasized the importance of fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature and commended the collaborative efforts of SWAN, the students, and the dignitaries present.
The awareness rally organized by Fountainhead Global School and Junior College, in collaboration with SWAN and Green India Challenge, demonstrated the power of collective efforts in restoring the beauty of Calvary Temple Road, and Manjeera Pipeline, Hafeezpet. It reinforced the importance of community involvement and highlighted the shared responsibility of preserving our natural resources for future generations.
